Hello! We are so happy spring has finally arrived! We are excited about the warmer weather to get outside and explore! For the month of April we are going to discuss rain and how April is a rainy time of year. The children will learn that April showers will bring May flowers! April will also include Earth Day. As a class we will discuss the color green and talk about gardening and keeping our earth clean. Some of our future art projects will include flower painting and painting with natural materials found outside such as leaves and branches. We will also be participating in The Week Of The Child! We would love for our parents to join us the week of April 8-12 for five fun-filled theme days to celebrate our youngest learners. The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration hosted by NAEYC to spotlight early learning, young children, their teachers, families, and communities. We can’t wait to see you there! Thank you, Mashaya Wagy Master Teacher DCDC-Downtown
