North Central Region
February 2022
Happy February!
I am Tracy Hinton, the new Business Consultant for the North Central Region. I have been trying to get out to meet as many of you as possible to tell you about our exciting new Business Enhancement Project. As a former family child care provider, I think this program can be a great benefit for our child care facilities.
What are we offering?
Three free years of Brightwheel (a child care management software that will help programs manage attendance, billing, parent communications, and more). If you already use Brightwheel, we can still get you signed up for the project and pay for your access for three years! If you use a different child care management software, you can still sign up for the project and enjoy the other benefits. . .

Top 5 Healthy Activities for Toddlers
Whether they're tearing through the house giggling madly or scaling a Mount Everest of sofa cushions, toddlers are an active bunch. One of a kid's main jobs In the transition between infancy and childhood is to learn the foundations of movement. When your toddler is throwing building blocks as hard as he can across the room, he's not just testing your limits. He's also practicing his motor skills. Toddlers learn by playing. And when you give them a wide variety of games and different settings in which to play, you help them to learn more. . .

Healthy Habits for Happy Smiles
Children need to visit the dental clinic to keep their teeth and mouth healthy. If children have regular dental visits, the dentist and dental hygienist can take care of their teeth and find oral health problems early. Having regular dental visits also teaches children to value good oral health.
