Seasons greetings from Classroom 2!
I have enjoyed spending the first week in our new classroom getting to know students and letting them get to know me. December is going to be an exciting month. Since we are all new to each other, I plan on spending a lot of time working on "Getting to Know You" activities.
If parents would like to share copies of pictures of your child with different family members and/or friends, I would like to hang them up around the room. This will help the children feel more comfortable in their new environment.
I plan on spending as much time, as weather permits, outside. Please be sure to pack weather-appropriate clothing (coats, hats, mittens, shoes, socks, etc.) for your child. We will also investigate a lot of different textures as we play in our sensory table. DCDC W is all about messy play! It is going to be so much fun!
