We are very excited for this season as it brings many changes to our environment outside. With our older toddlers, we will be learning that in the fall, the days are shorter and the nights are longer. In our indoor group experience, we will be discussing fall colors, and we will be able to experiment with these colors for the next couple of months during our art and sensory experience.
We want to thank everyone who participated in our Grandparent’s Day in September. The kids had so much fun with our special snack and our planting succulents activity.
We continue to encourage parents to volunteer a small amount of their time, whether it be sitting with the kids on the floor during open play, reading a book, or bringing something for show-and-tell. In order to bridge a gap between your home and the family center, we would also appreciate it if we could get family pictures to post on our walls to provide good self-esteem and comfort if the children are feeling lost throughout the day.
As the weather is also changing, we ask that a sweater and extra pants be provided so we are still able to interact in our outdoor group experiences.
