Happy Fall, Families!
The trees are looking beautiful, the air is chilly and crisp, and just like that, it is already coat season. I would like to remind you that it’s that time to check your children’s cubbies and add warmer clothing. Be sure to remember hats and gloves because we are outside, no matter what Mother Nature is throwing at us.
I cannot believe how fast this year is going. We are already into the month of November, and I want to start focusing on being thankful, kind, and giving. I will be sending some family activities home this month that will encourage you and your child to really connect and spend some one-on-one time together. We will also be focusing on strengthening some team work skills in the classroom and using others’ ideas with our own to work together and succeed at any and all tasks. Most preschoolers like to do things independently without any to little help, so this will help us engage and play well in larger groups with three or more children.
October was such a wonderful month, and we learned all types of new skills, including mathematics, understanding others’ feelings, and using our voice to solve many social problems we face as young ladies and gentlemen in the classroom. These skills will set the future for your children to use positive negotiation skills when facing everyday issues.
Thank you to everyone who came out to trick or treat and enjoy our Halloween party. We love having you here, and the children like seeing you in the class as well as getting to know their friends. We look forward to having you around the class more often.
