With sunshine, fireworks, campfires, and barbeques, the summer brings many fun memories. It also brings heat and lots of sun! How do we keep our children safe during the hot days of summer?
Here at the center, we will be spending a lot of time outdoors. With being outdoors, we will continue to make sure your child stays hydrated and will keep them safe from the sun. We will be putting sunscreen on the children both in the morning, in the afternoon, and as needed in between. You may provide your child a sunhat to help keep their little heads from getting too much sun and to help keep them cool.
We will be doing waterplay a couple times each week. Please bring a swimsuit so they can enjoy the water sprinkler and water table. With summer also comes flip-flops. Please make sure your child comes to school in closed-toe shoes for tripping safety.
