Happy 4th of July, everyone! We’ve all been asking for this hot weather, and boy, did we get it! There is a lot of water play going on in Infant 1, and the kids absolutely love it!
In the beginning of June, we dove in and explored different kinds of bugs that we could find outside. We worked on the kiddos' fine motor skills by trying to pick up the bugs with two fingers and training our eyes to focus in on the small critters. We spent a lot of time outside in the shade enjoying the fresh air and getting our toes in the water.
Some days are so hot that we are not able to go outside to play in the water, so we brought the water inside for the day! We are using many different objects to use in water play and lots of sensory, too. Next in our curriculum is to explore the world of bubbles. We have so many activities planned from making edible bubbles to bubbles big enough to fit around the babies! We are very excited for the month of July to get this started!
