Hello, everyone & Happy November!
I can’t believe November is already here and the holidays are right around the corner.
The month of October was so fun - we did so many sensory projects! We played with shaving cream, had rice and dried corn in our sensory table, explored the insides of a pumpkin, had water with pumpkin pie and maples scents in it. Watching the children explore the insides of the pumpkin was so fun! Some kids loved it, and some kids weren’t a fan whatsoever.
Although our Halloween celebrations were different this year, the kids still had so much fun! We did a scavenger hunt for candy and goodies, had a party, pajama day, and then a whole day to wear their costumes. Thank you for everyone’s participation, even though you couldn’t be here to celebrate with us!
During the month of November, we will be having so much fun. We will be making pies and applesauce. We will also be studying Thanksgiving.
As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email me at jwunsch@delawarechild.org or call me at the center.
Ms. Jessica
