Hello to all from Infant 2!
It's hard to believe that we are already in the fifth month of the year. As we leave April behind, I would like to take a moment to recap some changes that have occurred. As you all know, we combined both infant classrooms and that transition has gone very well.
In April we had lots of opportunities to talk about the new changes the season has brought such as the trees and flowers blooming, and we are seeing lots of birds now as well. The infants love going outdoors, and we are constantly adding to their vocabulary with all the new things to talk about.
Now that May is here, we will have a few more transitions as staff and children go to new places. I know this can be a very difficult change for some babies. I would like to share some information about supporting young infants and children through transitions from the following website:
